Who doesn't love a good tzatziki? This Greek sauce uses a base of plain Greek yogurt and cucumber mixed with lemon and dill for a light and refreshing sauce or dressing to nearly everything, in particular my Roasted Salmon and Sprouts!

Step 1
- 1 cup Cucumber
- 1 tsp Salt
Step 2
- 1 cup Plain nonfat greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Minced garlic
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 2 tbsp Dill, fresh
Instructions
Cook Mode Off: Prevents screen dimming
- Finely dice your cucumber, and add to a medium bowl with salt. Cover and refrigerate for about an hour, so the salt can draw out water from the cucumber
- Drain out the excess water. Add in the yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, and fresh dill. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use
Notes
- You can also use 1 tbsp (12 g) lemon pepper in place of 1 tsp (6 g) salt
- You can also use 2 tbsp (6 g) dried dill in place of 2 tbsp (2 g) fresh dill
