This edible protein brownie batter makes the perfect dessert, protein snack, or even breakfast. It's a great source of protein from the whey, healthy fats from the peanut butter, and fiber and natural sugars from the carob powder.

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup Natural peanut butter
- 4 scoop Whey protein powder, vanilla
- 2 cup Carob powder
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Liquid monk fruit
- 1 1/2 cup Unsweetened almond milk
Instructions
Cook Mode Off: Prevents screen dimming
- Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl with a silicone spatula
- Divide into 4 mason jars, about 3/4 cup (200 g) each
- Store in the fridge for up to 1 week, or in the freezer indefinitely
Notes
- To bulk it up (both in size and in protein content), you can add a 32 oz (4 cups, 908 g) container of plain nonfat Greek yogurt into the brownie batter!
- Note that using cocoa powder instead of carob would not only probably be too bitter, but it would mean that each serving would contain 92 mg of caffeine (as compared to 0 mg with carob), which is roughly equal to the caffeine conent of a cup of coffee
