 This healthy peanut butter chocolate mousse contains just 5 simple ingredients, and is free of added sugar and artificial sweeteners, while being both vegan and gluten free. Chickpeas provide a neutral base, peanut butter adds creaminess and healthy fats, and the dates act as our sweetener. This delicious mousse takes only 5 minutes to make, and serves 4 people

  1. Drain and rinse a can of chickpeas. Add all ingredients to a food processor, and blend until smooth


Notes
  1. Any kind of natural nut or seed butter can be used in place of the peanut butter, such as almond butter, cashew butter, sunflower seed butter, or tahini.

  2. Any kind of unsweetened dried fruit can be used in place of the dates, such as raisins, dried figs, or prunes.

  3. Any kind of milk (dairy or non-dairy) can be used in place of the almond milk in the recipe, such as skim milk, whole milk, oat milk, or just water.
