Ingredients
Serving(s)
- 4 cup Plain whole milk greek yogurt
- 3/4 cup Allulose

- 1 tbsp Vodka
- 1 tbsp Inulin
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
Instructions
Cook Mode Off: Prevents screen dimming
- In a large bowl, beat together the yogurt with a hand mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes to beat in as much air as possible
- Add in your vanilla, vodka, inulin, and salt. Beat until fully combined
- Slowly beat in the allulose until fully mixed
- Slowly beat in the cocoa powder until fully mixed
- Transfer the frozen yogurt to a wide and flat airtight container, and freeze
- Every half an hour, churn the fro-yo by mixing with a silicone spatula. Do this 6 times for a total of 3 hours
- Store in the freezer. Let it sit out for 5 minutes before scooping and serving
Notes
- Unlike other zero calorie sweeteners, allulose will lower the freezing point like sugar would, making the frozen yogurt less icy and more scoopable.
Vodka and inulin are also used to help with the texture due to the lack of sugar and low amount of fat. It is not recommended that you omit these - You can even use vanilla whey protein powder (5 scoops, 150 g) in place of allulose to act as both a sugar free sweetener and adding some protein.
You may need to let the fro-yo sit on the counter for a bit longer before being able to scoop it though
